Manual Override

Last Update: 16 Mar 2026

A manual override is a vital system feature that allows a human risk analyst or compliance officer to manually intervene in an automated workflow, changing the AI-generated decision (such as turning an automated "Fail" into a "Pass," or vice versa) based on human judgment or off-system context.

Why Complete Automation Isn't Always the Answer

While AI and automated rule engines are incredibly powerful, human oversight remains legally and practically necessary. An automated system might flag a business name because it loosely resembles a sanctioned entity. A human analyst, however, can quickly verify that the two entities are entirely unrelated and override the block.
